Online - On the network; typically refers to being on the Internet.
RAM - Random access memory; provides the capacity required to store and run the operating system plus a number of software applications on your workstation.
Satellite downlink - Equipment required to receive video programming from a broadcast satellite.Uncompressed analog - A standard TV channel
Web-based - Information and/or an application made available via the World Wide Web.
Web browser - A software program that requests, interprets, and presents World Wide Web (WWW) documents. Frequently used browsers include Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Lynx, and Mosaic.
