| The TechCollab's
charge is to help guide planning, use, and seamless integration of technology
at CSUMB and to ensure that CSUMB's collective knowledge and experience
is used in university planning and implementation processes of all technology.
The Collaborative expects to help ITPAC develop the best and most efficient use of financial resources, to strive for increased compatibility, reduced duplication, and increased use of equipment for multiple tasks when appropriate and reasonable. In this way, the Collaborative will assist the University in realizing the goal to become a technoogy leader within the broader academic community. Toward that end: 1. The Technology Collaborative Subcommittee will act as consultants to the campus community regarding planning, implementation, ongoing use and integration of technology at CSUMB when asked to by the ITPAC or by other campus groups. 2. The Technology Collaborative Subcommittee will review and make recommendations to the implementation phase of all Budget Request Proposals submitted to ITPAC. The CSUMB Technology Collaborative was formed by concerned professional technical staff to assist the University with design, implementation and support of technology for specific applications and projects. It is the expressed goal of the Collaborative to have our collective knowledge and experience used in university planning and implementation processes. The Collaborative maintains an open door policy for any and all on campus who desire consultation, advice, or feedback on plans, projects, initiatives and productions that involve the use of technology. |
